| Information | Where it comes from | What we use it for | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| Your email address and name | You, at checkout or sign-in | To identify your account, sign you in with an emailed link or code, and send order confirmations and your welcome email | Performing our contract with you |
| Delivery address and phone number | You, at checkout | To deliver your box. These are held by our payment provider, Stripe; the Locker itself does not store them | Performing our contract with you |
| Payment details | You, on Stripe's checkout page | To take payment. Card numbers go directly to Stripe and never pass through DreamFruit's systems. We hold only a Stripe customer reference and a record of what you bought | Performing our contract with you |
| Your plan, your fruit box and your orders | You, in the app; the DreamFruit team in our admin tools | To pack and deliver the right box each week, and to show you what's coming | Performing our contract with you |
| Your DragonAid fuel log | You, in the app | The detail of what you log each day stays on your device. The app sends us only a daily summary (the day, how many bottles, and your score for that day) so your progress is kept if you change phone and so we can see, in aggregate, how the programme is used | Performing our contract with you; our legitimate interest in understanding how the programme is used |
| Notification address for your device | Your phone, when you turn notifications on | To tell you when your box is on its way, remind you to fuel, and send the occasional message from the team. You can turn this off in the app at any time | Your consent |
| Your club | You or the DreamFruit team | To show your club's upcoming fixtures in the app. Fixture data comes from a football data provider; we do not send them anything about you | Performing our contract with you |
| Community leaderboard | You, if you opt in | To show your name on the community board. You are hidden by default and can opt out at any time | Your consent |
| How you use the app | Automatically | When you signed in, whether you've added the app to your home screen, and actions you take such as changing your box or asking for a plan change. Used to support you and to improve the app. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics | Our legitimate interest in running and improving the service |
| Messages you send us | You | If you reply to one of our emails or message the team on WhatsApp, we use what you send to help you. WhatsApp is run by Meta and has its own privacy notice | Performing our contract with you |
We use a small number of companies to run the service. Each one only receives what it needs for its job.
We do not sell your information and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
The app and its database are hosted in the UK. Stripe, Resend, Google and Cursor are based in the United States and may store information there. Where information leaves the UK we rely on the safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK Addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses or the UK-US Data Bridge.
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:
Email info@dreamfruit.uk and we'll respond within one month. If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Athletes of any age can use the Performance Locker. If you are under 18, your subscription will usually have been set up and paid for by a parent, guardian or your club, and they can ask us about your information on your behalf. We use a young athlete's information only to deliver their fuel and fruit and to run the app, exactly as described above, and we never use it for marketing. Notifications and the community board are optional for everyone; if you are under 13 we ask that a parent or guardian turns them on for you. A parent or guardian can contact us at any time to see, correct or remove a young athlete's information.
The app does not use tracking cookies. It stores on your device only what it needs to work: your sign-in session, your preferences, and your own fuel log. Clearing the app's data or logging out removes them.
If we change how we use your information in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. The date at the top shows when this notice was last updated.
